What is your passion?

I recently watched a vlog of someone who is of great inspiration to myself, and my current ventures. During the vlog he touched on the topic of entrepreneurship and considering what you actually want to do in regards to work/career. It was powerful, and instead of just encouraging entrepreneurship he also had great encouragement and respect for those who choose to live a 9-5-style life, as if that’s your passion and you enjoy what you do then you are fulfilling your goals. If however, you are stuck in a job just for the paycheck and ultimately you have a dream to be something else and your not fulfilling that then what is your purpose?

This made me look at my own situation, contemplating what it is that I want for my life, whilst I have a big picture of how I want my lifestyle to be, my idea of what I will do for work, to put my passion into, I find is ever changing. By this I mean I have always had a work/education goals, whether it be school, achieving GCSE’s then A-Levels, then considering a career path of Architecture and pursuing and completing a degree (all pre-mindset change), from there I found Forex and the marvelous world of trading, I will continue to work and learn at trading because I know I have an immense passion for this, but everyday I come across new things that I develop a passion for, such as creating a businesses in order to help new traders, creating books, vlogging, blogging. The point I am trying to get across is, I find new things to become passionate for everyday; so to answer the question of what is it I want to do? ... Well that is something, that for myself, will ever change and grow as I learn and expand my horizons.

I write down my goals, I visualise them and see them becoming real, imagine others benefitting from what I have created, ultimately, keep in your sights the passion and goal you have currently, work on that, figure out the time you can allocate to that passion, grow and nurture the passion into existence and then when other passions come along do the same with them, that way you will always be doing what you love and getting paid for doing it!

As long as you pursue what you want to do, then you are achieving your goals and you are living a life that you have totally created a grown for yourself in your vision, without ever having regrets or thinking about what if. Most people who do not follow their ultimate passion, are often those who struggle to determine their risk/reward ratio. By this i mean, those who are stuck doing a job that they don't enjoy are often too fearful of the risks of doing what they love, as the job they are doing is deemed safe. Those that follow their passions, often realise that the risk is worth it and that the reward they will get from doing what they love is much more important than the potential risk, and that is the beginning of an entrepreneur!

5 steps to growing your passions:

-Consider

-Envision

-Set goals

-Complete goals

-Live your passion without regret

Don’t ever worry or concern yourself with whether what you have a passion for now, must be the passion you continue you for the rest of your life, its just your passion now and fulfilling that means you aren’t living a life of regret or ever dreaming of something other than what you already spend your time doing, and if you find other passions along the way then pursue them too, just expand your horizons.
